HI!
I am TotallyTeamToni and this is me!
Welcome to my BLOG! I am excited about this journey that I am about to take. hopefully you will come along for the ride. To tell you about me...I am NOT all things "fashion and fingernails." LOL Not that there is anything wrong with that (I love those YouTube video's, I learn a lot from them!)...I am just super busy! SO when you come and read my blogs, there is no telling what they will be about. But hey, that's just me :)
So long story short, I have gained weight (not a good thing) and I need to loose it. I am really busy with everything going on in my life so I needed a plan.
(want to see my first YouTube video explaining it all?...click this link FIRST YouTube Video! How it started! )
Anyway, so I am going to do Dr. Ian Smith's program "Shred!"
The program claims that in 6 weeks, you can loose 4 inches and 2 sizes. What do you think? I think it's worth a try. I need a "Lifestyle Change" not just a "Diet" and this program seems to help with that.
What you need to know....(So far)
- The book is about $24.99 from Barnes and Nobles (you can get it for your tablet if you like...I am old school so I prefer a book I can write in)
- It takes you week-by-week in the program. It is very detailed telling you what time to eat your meals and snacks and it gives you a daily menu, so you can plan your meals.
- It tells you when to exercise and gives you examples of "how" to get your fitness goals in for the days that you are required to exercise.
- It gives you examples of 100 calorie and 150 calorie snacks that you can eat in your plan.
- You HAVE to drink WATER!!! This is hard for me and you will pee all day long but it helps. LOL
Here are a few things that I purchased to help me that were not listed in the book.
A scale! NO, it was NOT my friend and I thought there were 2 of me on it BUT, you have to weigh yourself every week!
Smartwater! I don't like drinking water but this is the best water I have found and it is vapor distilled.
A Lunchbox! I work so I will have to carry my meals and snacks with me so this helped a lot!
A Juicer! For breakfast, normally you will have a cup of juice that is NOT from concentrate. Fresh juice is the BEST for you. It is full of nutrients that have not been depleted due to processing.
And finally a Journal! I have to write things down. This way I can take my journal with me and check off my meals and write myself notes. What worked that day, what didn't and the things I want to change.
So I am excited and ready to see where this takes me. Feel free to comment or tell me what YOU are doing this week :)
